  2. Demonstrate your understanding of Social Policy and how it impacts on the provision of services for two groups in the community e.g. women, men, children, the elderly, and the disabled. Provide at least two examples of these policies.
  3. Discuss the impact of discrimination on individuals in Irish society and its impact on access to health services to Three of the following groups in society – travelers, the socially marginalized, elderly people, immigrant and migrant workers of diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, minority religions and homosexuals, and transsexuals.
  4. Investigate 3 different types of poverty that can be experienced in Ireland.
  5. Explore whether the role and function of the family as a social unit, has had implications in relation to the provision of care for the older or younger members within the family.
  6. Identify the work of non-governmental community groups/agencies in your locality that provide social and health support programs/initiatives/services that improve the quality of life of various members of society.
  7. Based on your research and findings in conducting this report, provide Two recommendations to improve the provision of care from: – The experience of being a patient/client Health or support Care Worker perspectives
  8. Demonstrate evidence of critical thinking, additional research, and correct referencing. Formatting of the project and overall layout.
