Q 4 (b) A system has the transfer function:

The open loop bode plot of the system is given in Figure Q4 (see page 6).
(i) Derive expressions for the Magnitude Ratio and Phase lag of the system as functions of frequency.
(ii) Determine what value of gain X should be applied to the system in unity negative feedback for the closed loop system to have a percentage overshoot of approximately 20% in response to a step input.
(iii) Estimate the 2% settling time of the closed-loop system designed in Q4(b)(i).
